Our Client, a trusted name in securities services, is looking for a Tax Product Manager to lead the charge in delivering innovative and compliant tax solutions for Kiwi clients. As Tax Product Manager, you will own the development, oversight, and delivery of tax products and services tailored to New Zealand clients. You’ll drive innovation, ensure regulatory compliance, and play a key part in strategic projects—while also acting as a subject matter expert across transitions, client onboarding, and service enhancements.

You’ll work across functions, locally and globally, to bring together people, ideas, and insights that enhance our Client's offering and deepen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • PRODUCT & INNOVATION
  • Design and develop new tax product offerings in line with evolving legislation.
  • Drive enhancements to existing services in collaboration with global product and delivery teams.
  • Monitor tax developments and assess impacts on service delivery.
  • Ensure sustainability and compliance across all tax solutions.
  • CLIENT LEADERSHIP
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients on tax matters.
  • Participate in client governance forums and service reviews.
  • Provide expert guidance, support transitions, and resolve queries efficiently.
  • INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT & STRATEGY
  • Represent Our Client at key tax, regulatory, and product forums in NZ.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on business roadmaps and strategic priorities.
  • Deliver market insights and promote thought leadership through updates and stakeholder engagement.
  • PEOPLE & RISK MANAGEMENT
  • Supervise technical tax teams and support their development.
  • Lead internal audits, risk reviews, and process improvements aligned with operational guidelines.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in taxation, funds administration, or relevant financial services roles.
  • Deep knowledge of NZ PIE tax regimes and fund admin
  • Deep understanding of NZ tax regulations and the investment/funds management sector.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate technical knowledge into practical solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate across functions, and deliver client-centric outcomes.
  • Experience in managing product life cycles, developing strategies, and supporting change initiatives.
