To ensure their presence is upheld within New Zealand, they are looking to appoint an Associate Account Manager who is looking for an opportunity to take their AM career to the next level.
The opportunity to develop relationships with new and current clients, identify growth opportunities and develop and implement strategies to improve service, business relationships and reputation in the local market is right here waiting for you!
Key focuses of this role includes:
- Building robust customer relationships, and developing a thorough understanding of customer needs and how the business solutions can continue to meet those needs
- Responding to customer requirements, including requests for quotes/proposals/tenders
- Identifying business improvements and new business opportunities
- Maintain and upgrade knowledge relevant to the IT industry, products and new technology
- Create deals and proposals for customers, along with presentations/demos
- Preparation of account plans
- Liaise with technical staff regarding technical issues to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
- Prepare sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and account management plans
- Maintain accurate business reporting including sales forecasts, CRM information and account plans
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that can bring the following experience, knowledge and skill:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Account Management and customer-focused roles, ideally within an IT-oriented space
- Demonstrated success of growing your accounts
- Negotiation skills and ability to work to achieve win-win outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an ability to build credibility both internally and externally at all levels
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
