Client Service Manager - Financial Services

Our Client offers a wide range of financial services for corporate, institutional and private investors spanning corporate and institutional banking, wealth management, asset management and insurance.

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Service Manager to ensure overall satisfaction across their assigned clients. This role covers the full scope of services delivered both locally and globally.

The Client Service Manager is responsible for driving an exceptional client experience by understanding client business needs, translating them into service delivery requirements, and ensuring all teams involved provide a seamless and high-quality service. Acting as a key point of contact, the Client Service Manager will build strong relationships, oversee operational service delivery, and ensure client expectations are consistently met.

For clients without a dedicated Relationship Manager, this role also includes commercial activities such as business development, revenue protection, contract management, and KYC compliance.

Key Service Management Responsibilities:

  • Build strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of client needs and expectations.
  • Act as the operational contact between the client and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee prompt resolution of client complaints and inquiries.
  • Monitor service performance against SLAs and ensure continuous improvements.
  • Organize and lead formal service performance reviews, documenting key points and ensuring action plans are executed.
  • Engage IT and Operations teams to ensure service quality and continuous improvements.
  • Manage communication and updates to clients regarding market developments and service enhancements.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and oversee governance frameworks to improve service standards.

Key Responsibilities - Client Relationship & Business Development:

  • Refer business development opportunities to relevant teams.
  • Contribute to product and service development initiatives.
  • Participate in client strategy meetings.
  • Support client branding and market reputation efforts.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to enhance client relationships.

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Lead the client relationship locally, ensuring revenue protection and business growth.
  • Coordinate responses to client business requests, RFIs, and RFPs, including pricing proposals.
  • Manage contract negotiations, pricing updates, and legal agreements.
  • Oversee KYC recertifications, credit line monitoring, and compliance updates.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of client invoices and revenue reports.

Ideally you would hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business, or related field. You would come with at least 5 years of experience in financial services, asset management, or securities services. Ideally you have a strong background in client relationship management and service delivery.
